EGS Group Ltd, leaders in business process automation, provided corporate sponsorship at the annual dinner of SOLACE, the Society of Local Authority Chief Executives.
The prestigious black tie event took place on February 3 at the Intercontinental, Park Lane, London, where EGS joined SOLACE members, MPs, senior civil servants and representatives from leading professional organisations in the public sector.
Guests were welcomed by President Katherine Kerswell, SOLACE President & Chief Executive of Northamptonshire County Council, while speakers included Francis Maude MP, Shadow Minister for the Cabinet Office.
During the relaxing evening, guests also had time to engage in valuable, informal discussions. These included debate on the future of local government amid the tighter financial constraints - and innovative ideas to bring about transformation.
“The SOLACE dinner was a wonderful evening that brought together so many leaders and creative thinkers across local government – at a critical time when costs and savings are very much in focus,” commented Peter Whent, Chief Executive at EGS.
“EGS were delighted to provide sponsorship – and we are looking forward to forging a closer bond with SOLACE in future, underlining our commitment to the local government sector.”
