Education

eProcurement systems have a key role to play in helping to reduce the costs of support operations, enabling existing resources to be re-deployed in support of the delivery of front-line education services.

EGS works with organisations from across the education sector to assist universities and colleges in realising significant cost savings and improvements in efficiency.

We have two marketplaces in the education sector:

A growing number of universities and colleges in England and Scotland are using our services. We also liaise closely with regional Purchasing consortia.

In the Further Education sector we are working with the Department for Children Schools and Families (DCSF) and the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) to increase sector awareness of the benefits of eProcurement.

Our recent partnership, established with the Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium (SUPC), enables universities and other higher education institutes across the UK to access our services under competed EU compliant contract arrangements.
